PURCHASE SEMINARS

I. Trainee Background and Education:

1. Must possess M.D. or D.O. Degree.

2. Or, possess a Ph.D. or Ed.D., earned from an accredited college, university, or institute in the field of Health Sciences as Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counseling, or closely related field.

3. Or, possess an M.A. or M.S. from an accredited college or university, in the field of Health Sciences such as Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counseling, or a closely related field and currently be enrolled in a doctorate program at an accredited college, university, or institute.

4. Or, possess an M.S.W., M.S.S.W., or M.S.C. from an accredited college university or institute.

5. Or, possess an earned D.Min. or B.D. (three year program) or other equivalent graduate theological degree with a major in Pastoral Psychology, Marriage Counseling or equivalent.

II. Clinical Training in Hypnoanalysis:

1. Before starting training in hypnoanalysis, the trainee must have completed The Post Graduate Course in Practical Hypnosis (or equivalent) as taught by the Ohio Institute of Medical Hypnosis, Inc.

2. Length of clinical training: A period of three months shall be required. Training should start with a period of at least two weeks. The remainder can be scheduled to fit the trainee's schedule, but shall not exceed a period of longer than two years. It consists of twelve weeks of individual training with Dr. Zelling.

3. The trainee will undergo hypnoanalysis himself/herself to avoid "blind spots."

4. The subject matter includes training in all phases of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, as well as the principles of dynamic, active, and directed Psychotherapy. The therapist is trained to combine psychotheraputic procedure with an organized system of hypnosis as a therapeutic modality for emotional disorders. The system includes very specific medical and psychological history techniques with emphasis on unconscious responses, body language, and specific hypnoanalytic diagnostic testing.

5. Shall include, but not limited to, instructions in the following areas:
a. Hypnotherapy
b. Hypnoanalysis
c. History analysis and Diagnosis
d. Hypnoanesthesia
e. Program Learning
f. The use of Bryan Word Association Test.
g. Treatment of Psyhosomatic Diseases with Hypnotherapy
h. Treatment of Psychoneurotic Diseases with Hypnotherapy
i. Relaxation Therapy
j. Memory Training
k. Suggestion Formulation
l. Instruction in administering to patients special therapeutic programs for the purpose of aiding students to raise their grades and aiding executives and salesmen to program themselves for greater success.

6. The Ohio Institute of Medical Hypnosis will provide the trainee with a basic script library (approximately 200) which includes diagnostic and therapeutic scripts for a large variety of psychosomatic and psychological problems.

III. Recognition and Certification

1. The trainee will receive a certificate from The Ohio Institute of Medical Hypnosis upon completion of the training program.

IV. Fees:

1. The fee for the Cincial Training Program is $8,000.00 (and is subject to change).

2. The fee is to be paid to The Ohio Institute of Medical Hyposis, Inc.

3. The fee is to be paid in advance by the trainee in accordance with a contract mutually agreed upon with the Ohio Institute of Medical Hypnosis, Inc.

4. In the event that the trainee withdraws for any legitamate reason, the unused portion of the fee will be pro-rated and returned to the trainee.
